2022 Spring Semester
Music Program Details
Welcome to After-School Music!
All levels welcome and no experience required!
Students will be grouped in classes of similar instruments and ages, where they will learn how to play their desired instrument. This program is designed to keep music FUN, so students should expect to play many familiar songs throughout the 15+ week program, in addition to learning the fundamentals of rhythm, harmony and traditional note reading.
Smaller group classes will come together as one larger ensemble in the spring, culminating with a final year-end concert!
Instruction begins on Monday, January 31st, 2022 and runs through the end of May, culminating with a school concert.
Small group lessons will be held each Monday after school:
- Beginning Violin (3:00PM – 3:30PM) – Open to grades K – 8
- Beginning Piano/Keyboard (3:30PM – 4:00PM) – Open to grades K – 8
- Beginning Ukulele (4:00PM – 4:30PM) – Open to grades 2 – 8
Please have your child’s after-school schedule clear for their assigned 30 minute time block. Parents should plan to pick up your child directly after their music class has ended, unless they attend after school care on campus.
Students waiting to take a later lesson may attend after school care without charge while waiting for their lesson, but must be picked up at the end of their lesson time in order to avoid fees for the time they attend after the conclusion of their class. If you are already enrolled in after school care your child can attend before and after their music class.
A program fee is requested from each participant to cover the entire 15+ week semester spanning January, 2022 through May, 2022.
- One discounted payment of $325 – due with registration
The program fee covers instructional costs, as well as all music, books and basic supplies given to your child throughout the year.
The following additional resources are new and included with your tuition:
- Class Portal Page – weekly homework assignments, sheet music downloads, helpful video tutorials, and much more!
- Interactive video – get extra help by submitting a video for feedback from one of our teachers!
The only other expense will be the rental or purchase of the instrument (see below).

(Please select a keyboard that has battery power in addition to a power cord for independent use in class.)
