2019 – 2020 Music Program Registration

Program Details

The program is directed by Jason Torreano and classes are taught by the faculty of The Orchestra Place.


  • Kindergarteners and First graders may only choose the violin.
  • Second graders may choose the violin, flute, clarinet, trumpet, or pBone mini.
  • Third, Fourth and fifth graders may choose the violin, cello, flute, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, pBone mini, or trombone.


Instruction begins on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 and runs through the spring, culminating with a school concert on Thursday, April 23rd, 2020 at 4:00 PM.

Thirty to forty minute small group lessons will be held each Thursday after school between 2:40 PM and 5:00 PM. Please keep that time block free on Thursdays. This flexibility in scheduling will allow us to create classes best suited for the enrollment.

The final schedule and location of classes will be announced via email after enrollment is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. To aid in your planning, note that beginning classes will be held earlier than intermediate and advanced level classes.

Once the schedule is available, please have your child’s schedule clear for their assigned 30 – 40 minute time block. Students waiting to take a later lesson may opt to go home with parents and then return to school at lesson time. Or, contact the school regarding available campus supervision for students waiting to take their lesson.

Program Costs

A program fee of $315 per semester is requested from each participant to cover the entire 2019 – 2020 school year (October 3, 2019 – April 23, 2020). Or, pay for the entire year in one discounted payment of $595.

This program fee covers instructional costs, as well as all music, books and basic supplies given to your child throughout the year. The only other expense will be the rental or purchase of the instrument.

Getting your instrument

Discounted rental and purchase prices have been arranged for participating music students through our official instrument supplier. All prices from our supplier include FREE DELIVERY to school at the first lesson and pick up at the end of the program following the year-end concert. Visit The Instrument Place to place your order.

Free Music Tuition and Instrument Rental

A parent volunteer is needed to assist students in getting to their lesson rooms on Tuesdays. If you are available every Thursday from 2:40 – 5:00 PM to help, please email Parent volunteers receive a full tuition waiver and free instrument rental.

Students who are enrolled in the STAR Program

If your child is enrolled in the after school STAR program, you may need to arrange for them to be checked in and out of STAR to attend music. Please indicate if your child is in STAR in the Comment Box of the music registration form and please check with your STAR director regarding releasing your child from STAR to attend music class.

There are two payment options available for tuition. Participants can make two payments of $315 (first payment today, and second automatically charged on Dec 15) or make a one-time discounted payment of $595. Select a payment option below.
