Orchestra Program Details

Course Description:

Welcome to Orchestra!

All levels are welcome and prior experience is not required!

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to introduce your child to the world of music? Look no further than our Orchestra program!

No matter your child’s experience level, our program welcomes all students who are interested in learning how to play woodwind, brass, or string instruments – including ukulele and piano. With our small group classes tailored to students’ ages and abilities, they’ll receive personalized attention and instruction from our talented and experienced teachers.

Throughout the 2023-2024 school year program, your child will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of rhythm, harmony, and traditional note reading, all while playing familiar songs that they love. Smaller groups will come together to form a larger ensemble, culminating in an unforgettable year-end concert.

Not only will your child learn valuable skills and techniques that will serve them well throughout their lives, they’ll also have a blast doing it! So why wait? Sign up your child for our Orchestra program today and watch as they discover the joy of music.

Financial Aid Terms and Conditions

To be considered for payment plans and/or financial aid, applicants must agree to the Terms and Conditions below.

A limited number of extended payment plans, scholarship instrument rentals, and financial aid awards are available for students requesting assistance. Aid is available for either instrument rentals or for the music instructional fee. Priority is given to first-year, beginning players.

Students receiving assistance are expected to attend 100% of lessons and rehearsals, except due to illness. Poor attendance and performance may result in being dropped from the program. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to learning to play their instrument and be a contributing member of the music program. They are expected to attend all classes with their music and instrument each week and to strictly adhere to the code of conduct. Students receiving assistance will need to demonstrate that they are passionate about learning to play an instrument and that they will practice, work hard, and support their fellow musicians. Parents are asked to see that their child establishes a regular daily practice routine at home and arrive on time for all lessons. Students who do not follow these guidelines may be dropped from the program at anytime.

Students must demonstrate care and responsibility for their instrument, keeping it well-maintained, knowing its where-a-bouts, and keeping it safe at all times. Parents must take full responsibility for any instrument loaners received and agree to pay for any costs incurred due to damage (unless damage protection is purchased), theft, or loss.

Failure to follow any of the above TERMS and CONDITIONS will result in the revocation of financial aid and/or being dropped from the music program.
