Financial Aid

Financial Aid Application | 2022-2023 School Year

Orchestra Program Details

Course Description:

Welcome back to Orchestra!

Students will be grouped in classes of similar instruments and ages, where they will learn how to play their desired string instrument. This program is designed to keep music FUN, so students should expect to play many familiar songs throughout the 25+ week program, in addition to learning the fundamentals of rhythm, harmony and traditional note reading.

Smaller group classes will come together as one larger ensemble in the spring, culminating with a final year-end concert!

Please view your school’s registration page for more details regarding your school’s program.

Financial Aid Terms and Conditions

To be considered for payment plans and/or financial aid, applicants must agree to the Terms and Conditions below.

A limited number of extended payment plans, scholarship instrument rentals, and financial aid awards are available for students requesting assistance. Aid is available for either instrument rentals or for the music instructional fee. Priority is given to first-year, beginning players.

Students receiving assistance are expected to attend 100% of lessons and rehearsals, except due to illness. Poor attendance and performance may result in being dropped from the program. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to learning to play their instrument and be a contributing member of the music program. They are expected to attend all classes with their music and instrument each week and to strictly adhere to the code of conduct. Students receiving assistance will need to demonstrate that they are passionate about learning to play an instrument and that they will practice, work hard, and support their fellow musicians. Parents are asked to see that their child establishes a regular daily practice routine at home and arrive on time for all lessons. Students who do not follow these guidelines may be dropped from the program at anytime.

Students must demonstrate care and responsibility for their instrument, keeping it well-maintained, knowing its where-a-bouts, and keeping it safe at all times. Parents must take full responsibility for any instrument loaners received and agree to pay for any costs incurred due to damage (unless damage protection is purchased), theft, or loss.

Failure to follow any of the above TERMS and CONDITIONS will result in the revocation of financial aid and/or being dropped from the music program.
