A great way to help students engage with the app and actually practice at home is to record your lessons! If you are teaching a concept that you really want students to get, go ahead an set up your phone to record yourself teaching it to the live class! 
 
You can edit the video and post it within the homework assignment or email it to me and I can make clips for the assignments.

Policy Regarding External Links to Social Media Platforms

Purpose: To maintain the security and integrity of The Orchestra Place app and ensure a safe user experience.

Policy:

  • Prohibition of External Social Media Links: The posting of external links to social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), TikTok) within The Orchestra Place app is strictly prohibited. This includes links to profiles, pages, groups, posts, and any other content hosted on these platforms.

  • Acceptable Video Sharing: Video content can be shared within The Orchestra Place App using the following methods:

    • YouTube API: Embed videos using the YouTube API to ensure secure and controlled playback.
    • Uploading to Library: Upload video files directly to the library for native playback within the app environment.

Rationale:

  • Security: External social media links can expose users to various security risks, including phishing scams, malware, and inappropriate content.
  • Privacy: Social media platforms often track user data. By prohibiting external links, we protect user privacy within The Orchestra Place App.
  • Self-Contained Experience: The Orchestra Place App is designed to be a safe and self-contained platform. External social media links disrupt this experience and can lead users away from the app.

Any content containing external social media links will be removed from The Orchestra Place App.

How to use the Print Sheet Music PDF Tool
  • Type in your name and the school name you want to print for
  • Click the piece of music to expand its contents (Example: Click on Hot Dog for Orchestra)
  • Enter the number of copies for each part you want to print
    • Click on View if you want to check the part 
    • Add as many copies of each part as you need
  • Click “Compile and Save” and wait for the download.
    • You can then open the PDF and print yourself or ask us to print it for you.
    • The PDF will have a cover sheet with your name, school, and list of parts
